<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rapidly change the whole or a part of exclusive units for forming cavities while leaving a general part behind in a forming machine. <P>SOLUTION: A fixed insert 16, a movable insert 18, an extrusion plate 21 and a slide core 23 as exclusive units N are automatically attached/detached to/from a fixed main die 15, a movable main die 17, an extrusion rod 19 and a slide holder 22 as general purpose units M by attaching/detaching mechanisms 31, 32, 81 and 104, and the fixed insert 16, the movable insert 18, the extrusion plate 21 and the slide core 23 as the exclusive units N are integrated with each other by a connection mechanism 61 in a die closing manner. By utilizing a transverse feeding means 141 of p setup device and the die opening/closing motion on the forming machine side, the exclusive units N are automatically detached from the general purpose units M in a condition of a collected body NN, and the collected body NN of the exclusive units carried inside the forming machine from the outside of the forming machine is automatically attached to the general purpose units M. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
