PURPOSE: A ventilation apparatus is provided to allow for ease of construction of range hood by permitting gaps formed between the ventilation tubes to be adjustable. CONSTITUTION: A ventilation apparatus comprises the first body arranged outside of a ventilation passage of a range hood, and which has a screw arranged at the outer surface of the first body; the second body arranged inside of the ventilation passage of the range hood together with the first body, and which has a screw arranged at the outer surface of the second body; and a ring type adjustment member(200) having a screw arranged at the inner surface of the adjustment member so as to be engaged with the screws of the first body and the second body. The ventilation apparatus has a thickness which is adjustable in accordance with the width of the ventilation passage of the range hood. The first body has a circular tube(110) which has a diameter decreasing as it goes toward the end of the circular tube. The second body has a circular tube(310) which has an open/shut frame(320) for opening/shutting an air flow.
