PURPOSE: A method of preparing a seedling raising pot by pressure-forming food wastes at high temperature is provided, thereby providing solutions to problems associated with food waste treatment, saving labor power and providing the seedling raising pot being easily decomposed in soil. CONSTITUTION: To produce a seedling raising pot with food wastes, food wastes collected are firstly subject to pretreatment such as foreign material separation, desalting and drying and then ground. Secondly, the ground material is compressed in a mold(2) at 160 to 180deg.C by lifting the upper mold(2a) thereof two to three times for 1min to discharge air therefrom to the outside and then inflated. Finally, the material is compressed with the upper mold for 1min in the inflated state and then separated from the mold by separation of the upper/lower mold(2a, 2b). The seedling raising pot contains food waste powder and a mixture of rice, barley and wheat hulls in a weight ratio of 1:1. |
