PURPOSE: A defective field area enhancing method is provided to better a quality of a system by enhancing a defective field and improve an average transfer rate by a parameter change. CONSTITUTION: A field testing is performed in an area where a BTS(Base Transceiver System) is positioned to extract a defective field area. It is judged whether there is a call-related parameter error in the BTS, a BSC(Base Station Controller) and an MSC(Mobile Switching Center) of the defective field area, and if there is a parameter error, the error is corrected. If a defective field is not enhanced in spite of the correction of the parameter error, an antenna of the BTS is adjusted. If the defective field is not enhanced in spite of the adjustment of the antenna, an output power of the BTS is adjusted. If the defective field is not enhanced in spite of the adjustment of the output power, it is judged whether a public line is defective, and if the public line is defective, the defective public line is replaced with a new one. If the defective field is not improved in spite of the replacement with the new public line, it is judged whether there is an error in a hardware board of the BTS and the BSC, and if the hardware has an error, it is replaced with a new one. If the defective field is not enhanced in spite of the replacement with the new hardware board, the mode of the BTS is changed from an omni mode to a 3-sector mode. |
