PURPOSE: A method for providing a traffic information service using digital information broadcasting is provided to receive an LBS(Local Based Service) with a low price without using a backward link by using a digital information broadcasting method. CONSTITUTION: An LBS such as traffic information is applied to a receiving terminal by using broad digital information broadcasting having a communication radius more than 1km. A digital information broadcasting station(111) includes a digital audio broadcasting server in order to collect broadcasting information and convert the broadcasting information to digital audio messages. The digital audio broadcasting server inserts the message reception position information into the digital audio messages. The digital audio broadcasting server inserts the repeated broadcasting number, the available period, and the broadcasting period of the digital audio messages into broadcasting control parameters when storing the digital audio messages into a broadcasting pool. The available broadcasting messages are extracted from the broadcasting pool according to the broadcasting control parameters and the extracted broadcasting messages are transmitted.
