CONSTITUTION: A process for preparing an extract of Schizandra chinensis BAILL. comprises the steps of: washing dried Schizandra chinensis BAILL.; dipping Schizandra chinensis BAILL. in distilled water at room temperature for 70 to 90 hours; removing Schizandra chinensis BAILL. from the water and separating Schizandra chinensis BAILL. liquid; cooling the Schizandra chinensis BAILL. liquid and concentrating it. Schizandra chinensis BAILL. wine is prepared by adding Schizandra chinensis BAILL. powder into hard boiled rice and malt and mixing them; adding water into the mixture and fermenting them; distilling the fermented mixture; and adding the Schizandra chinensis BAILL. extract into the distilled liquor.
