PURPOSE: An acrylic modified polyester resin for a topcoat paint of PCM(pre-coated metal) steel sheet which has excellent dispersibility of organic and inorganic pigments and does not generate color cohesion and separation. CONSTITUTION: The acrylic modified polyester composition is obtained by reacting 30 to 70 wt% of the linear thermosetting polyester resin prepared by the condensation of dihydric alcohols, dibasic acids and versatic acid glycidyl ester having mono-epoxy functional groups with 70 to 30 wt% of a monomer composition containing at least an acrylic monomer to perform the modification of the resin. In particular, the linear thermosetting polyester resin has a weight average molecular weight of 3,000 to 10,000.
