CIRCUIT FOR CONTROLLING POWER AND GATE PULSE OF LCD

PURPOSE: A circuit for controlling power and a gate pulse of an LCD is provided to improve a degree of integration and reduce manufacturing cost by forming a power control circuit and a gate pulse control circuit for removing flickering phenomenon within the same chip. CONSTITUTION: A circuit for controlling power and a gate pulse includes a power control circuit(Q1,Q3) and a gate pulse control circuit(Q2,Q4-Q6). The power control circuit is used for applying a gate driving voltage for driving a gate of a cell transistor to an LCD according to a power control signal. The gate pulse control circuit receives a gate driving voltage from the power control circuit and outputs the gate driving voltage in a high electric potential period of a flicker removal signal and a supply voltage lower than the gate driving voltage in a low electric potential period of the flicker removal signal. The power control circuit and the gate pulse control circuit are formed within the same chip.
