PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display is provided to prevent feed-through voltage from increasing by reducing resistance of gate lines and increasing storage capacitors, thereby reducing differences in brightness according to positions of pixels. CONSTITUTION: M gate lines(12) increase in width as the gate lines become distant from starting points where gate signals are inputted. N data lines(14) are provided. A gate insulating film is formed to insulate the gate lines and the data lines. M x n pixels are defined by the gate lines and the data lines and are arranged in matrix type. Thin film transistors(20) are formed at crossing parts of the gate lines and the data lines. Each thin film transistor is formed of a semiconductor layer(15), a gate electrode(21) drawn from the gate line, a source electrode(14a) drawn from the data line, and a drain electrode(14b) connected with a pixel electrode(17).
