PURPOSE: A system for supporting an individual development plan is provided to link a conventional system based on a data communication, that is, a merit rating system, a job management system, an education development system, a company educational system, and an external education in a data communication environment such as the Intranet and the Internet. CONSTITUTION: A member terminal(201) includes a browser for recognizing information being supplied through the network and transmitting information being inputted by the member through the network. An approver terminal(202) includes a browser for recognizing information being supplied through the network and transmitting information being inputted by the approver. A plan supporting server(110) supplies an information input window for enabling the member to diagnose the ability and set a plan for increasing an insufficient ability in a diagnosis result and an information output window for enabling the approver to inquire and approve an ability elevation plan set by the member. The plan supporting server(110) stores ability elevation plan information and ability elevation approval information received by the member and the approver through the network in an individual development plan database(120).
