PURPOSE: A duplexing method of a duplex system is provided, which performs double branching by considering the condition of a counter part when the branching is done by doubling. CONSTITUTION: A specific character indicating active/inactive state of each board is transmitted to a counter board where an active master board is doubled. The counter board receiving the specific character sets a primary link and a redundancy link according to the specific character. When the master board in the active state senses an error generated in a data receiving link from the counter board in the active state, a specific character indicating that the counter board in the inactive state is changed to an active state is transmitted to the counter board. Then, the counter board receiving the above specific character performs a double branching according to the above specific character.
