GRANULAR AND LIQUID TEA PRODUCTS CONTAINING GASTRODIA ELATA BLUME AS ACTIVE INGREDIENT

PURPOSE: Granular and liquid tea products containing a Gastrodia elata Blume extract having excellent functionality and sensory quality as a main component are provided. Therefore, a consumer easily take Gastrodia elata Blume having excellent anticancer activity, hypoglycemic activity, detoxicating activity and prevention effect on preventing adult diseases. CONSTITUTION: A granular tea product contains 10 to 35% by weight of a Gastrodia elata Blume extract having a brix value of about 40 units, 20 to 40% by weight of purified glucose and 40 to 60% by weight of anhydrous glucose. A liquid tea product contains 30 to 60% by weight of a Gastrodia elata Blume extract having a brix value of about 40 units, 30 to 60% by weight of liquid fructose, 5 to 10% by weight of honey and 2 to 10% by weight of a Zizyphi Fructus extract. The Gastrodia elata Blume extract is obtained by extracting it with about 10 times of water at 70 to 90deg.C for 5 to 12hr and repeating the extraction process several times.
