<p>PURPOSE: To house a heat-insulating stream lining body in an air bag housed in a retainer, and to house an infrator without sewing, etc., the air bag by fastening a nut to the bolt part of the inflator penetrated through the air bag and the retainer. CONSTITUTION: In assembling an air bag device, 1, firstly, the mounting site 2a of an air bag 2 is housed in a retainer 5. Sections 15 are outwardly folded from a penetrating hole 11. The locking hole parts 16 of the sections 15 are locked to engaging protrusions 12 to form an opening part 20 in the air bag 2. Secondary, the other end part of an inflator 3 is inserted from the opened edge part of a heat-insulating stream lining body 4. A gas streaming lining part 4b is placed at a gas discharging port 9 side. A bolt part 8 is inserted in an inserting hole 18. In addition, the inflator 3 is inserted in the air bag 2 from the opening part 20. The bolt part 8 is inserted in a penetrating hole 17. Then, the engaging hole part 10 of a flange part 6 is engaged with the engaging protrusions 12. The bolt part 8 is penetrated in an installing hole 13.
