PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out the stable combustion without the generation of a smoke and an accidental fire at the warming up time of an engine. SOLUTION: A first combustion in which EGR gas amount in a combustion chamber 5 is much more than EGR gas amount in which the generation amount of a soot becomes peek and the soot is scarcely generated and a second combustion in which EGR gas amount in the combustion chamber 5 is less than EGR gas amount in which the generation amount of the soot becomes peek are carried out selectively. At the warming up time of an engine, the fuel injection timing is quickened, the fuel injection pressure is increased, the re-circulation exhaust gas ratio is dropped or the air fuel ratio is enlarged in comparison with after finishing the engine warming up. |
