摘要 PURPOSE: An active matrix organic electroluminescence device is provided to prevent a short circuit and to improve a lifespan, by reducing a thickness difference of an organic luminescence layer. CONSTITUTION: A thin film transistor is formed on a substrate. A protection layer(380) covers the thin film transistor and has a contact hole through which a part of the thin film transistor is exposed. The first electrode(390) is formed over the protection layer and is connected to the thin film transistor via the contact hole. An organic luminescence layer is formed on the first electrode, and the second electrode(410) is formed on the organic luminescence layer. The first electrode has a flat surface and fills the contact hole.
