PURPOSE: A system for entering Chinese Pinyin using 12 key array are provided to easily input Pinyin and Korean language by transforming a reference scan code on the basis of a certain rule and generating a transition scan code. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of clusters(Input buttons) are formed in a matrix in a key array(10). Each cluster is assigned plural Roman alphabet co-sounding codes and a generation control code. When an input button assigned a Roman alphabet co-sounding code is depressed, a Roman alphabet co-sounding code is generated. When an input button assigned a generation control code is depressed, a transition scan code corresponding to a generation control code is generated from the previously inputted Roman alphabet co-sounding code. A look-up table(30) defines a relation between the Roman alphabet co-sounding code and the generation control code corresponding each cluster and a relation between a reference scan code and the transition scan code by way of the generation control code. A scan code generating module(20) receives a signal inputted by the key array(10), generates a corresponding Roman alphabet co-sounding code by referring to the look-up table(30), and pushes the generated Roman alphabet co-sounding code to a stack(40). When inputting is completed, the scan code generating module(20) outputs a Roman alphabet co-sounding code to an output module(50) from the stack(40).
