Signals representing the motor rotor position are converted into pulses which are supplied to a current-controlling circuit (8). The circuit controls the current supplied to the stator to drive the motor roller (4). A sequencer supplies commands to a controlling circuit (7) which processes the signals for passing to the current-controlling circuit. A magnetic pole detecting circuit (9) receives signals from a Hall effect semiconductor in the motor roller. The signals represent the pole positions of the rotor. A pulse generator (19) receives the position signals and converts them to pulses for sending to a superordinate external controller. |
