PURPOSE: An image sensor is provided to be capable of minimizing overlapped region between spectrum ranges in color filters by using a notch filter. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of photodiodes(31) are formed in a substrate(30). A green, blue and red color filter(36a,36b,36c) are formed on the photodiodes(31). A notch filter(39) is formed at a lower portion of the blue color filter(36b). Microlens(38) are then formed on the green, blue and red color filter(36a,36b,36c). At this time, the notch filter(39) is stacked sequentially and alternately a PE-nitride layer and an oxide layer. The index of refraction of the PE-nitride layer is 2.01 and the index of refraction of the oxide layer is 1.488.
