PURPOSE:To measure an emission of light out of a solid phase in highly sensitive manner in the case where magentic particles are used as this solid phase by receiving the light out of labeled material on the magentic particles in a direction parallel with the depth of a chamber after the magnetic particles are caught by dint of magnetic force in a state of being flatly spread over in the chamber. CONSTITUTION:An immune complex inclusive of analytical objective material and light emitting labeled material is connected together on magnetic particles by means of immune reaction. In brief, this chemically light emitting labeled material is labeled to the magnetic particles by this immune reaction. Next, in a state that a magnetic field is impressed on a chamber 17 being larger in width than the depth, a fluid containing the magnetic particles is made to flow into this chamber 17. With this fluid inducing, the magnetic particles are caught by magnet 24 in a state of being flatly spread over in the chamber 17 being larger in width than the depth. In succession, the impression of the magnetic field to the chamber 17 is released, and voltage is impressed in an interval between an electrode and a counter electrode in keeping the magnetic particles stopped on a working electrode 15 intact, whereby the light emission out of the labeled material on the magnetic particles is received in a direction parallel with the depth of the chamber 17, and thus this emission is measured. |
