PURPOSE:To prevent any deformation in a ring race from occurring by making the occurrence of moment load against this ring race so as to be checkable. CONSTITUTION:In a skew-contact type thrust ball bearing, thickness in an area of up to the midway of a bend 1a from a ring plate part 1b of a first ring race 1 is thinned, thereby making an outer surface of this area a flat surface 1d going along the radial direction. With this constitution, a circumferential intersection between an end edge of this flat surface 1d, namely, the ring plate part 1b and the bend 1a comes to be settable nearby an intersection or load concentrating point in consequence, so that any possible load acting on the first ring race 1 is made so as to be restrainable from occurring in consequence. Such a useless effort that an increase in strength of the first ring race 1 is therefore promoted as in the part is omissible. |
