PURPOSE:To obtain a growth promotor which contains Bacillus subtilis and amylase as active ingredients and stimulates the proliferation of Escherichia coli and Bifidobacterium. CONSTITUTION:This promotor contains (A) Bacillus-subtilis (preferably IFO 13169, IFO 3009, BN is pref.) and (B) amylase (preferably alpha-amylase) as active ingredients. In 1 gram of the preparation, the component A amounts for more than 10<4> cfu, preferably more than 10<5> cfu, while the component B amounts for more than 20 units, preferably more than 30 units interms of the enzyme activity. |
