PURPOSE: A structure of MPS inspecting lines of a liquid crystal display is provided to prevent short circuit between lines due to static electricity by forming a structure for inducing the static electricity. CONSTITUTION: An MPS(Mass Production System) gate inspecting line(GO) connects odd gate lines to inspect openness and short circuit of a plurality of gate lines and data lines formed on a substrate. An MPS gate inspecting line(GE) connects even gate lines. An MPS data inspecting line(DO) connects odd data lines. An MPS data inspecting line(DE) connects even data lines. A static electricity inducing area(B) is separately formed to prevent short circuit between the lines generated at cross parts of the MPS gate inspecting lines and the MPS data inspecting lines. The static electricity inducing area includes a plurality of prominence and depressions protruded from parts of the MPS data inspecting lines.
