PURPOSE: An apparatus is provided to prevent accidents by permitting the cooling fan and hydraulic motor to automatically stop upon opening of the bracket. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a hydraulic motor(2) arranged in front of an engine radiator in such a manner that the hydraulic motor is supported by a bracket; a cooling fan(3) operating by the hydraulic motor; a hydraulic line(9) for interconnecting the hydraulic motor and a hydraulic pump(1); a bracket open/shut detection switch(5) for detecting an open/shut state of the bracket; and a shut-off valve(4) for shutting the hydraulic line in accordance with the signal detected by the bracket open/shut detection switch. The bracket is arranged to be rotatable.
