PURPOSE: A timing controller for liquid crystal display is provided to reduce the data transition by an equal bit value in previous frame data and current frame data, thereby improving the EMI(Electro Magnetic Interference). CONSTITUTION: A timing controller for liquid crystal display includes a first memory formed of first to sixth memory parts(M1-M6) for dividing red, green and blue data used in a previous frame into odd-numbered and even-numbered ones to store respectively, a second memory group formed of seventh to twelfth memory parts(M7-M12) for dividing red, green and blue data to be used in a current frame into odd- and even-numbered ones to store respectively, and first to sixth comparators(C1-C6) for comparing the data transitions of the red, green and blue data stored in first and second memory groups to output data voltages and control signals to a data driving part(110).
