PURPOSE: A CF(Compact Flash) type CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) module is provided to install a CF type interface for compatibility with PDAs(Personal Digital Assistants), notebooks and handheld PCs(Personal Computers), thereby enabling Internet, E-mail, SMS(Short Message Service) and data services anywhere. CONSTITUTION: An RF(Radio Frequency) unit(110) comprises an RF processor, an IF(Intermediate Frequency) processor, a baseband processor and an antenna. The RF processor comprises an antenna transceiving frequencies, a duplexer dividing transmission signals and receiving signals, a receiver converting RF signals into IF signals and controlling a gain, and a frequency mixer supplying frequencies to a portable terminal and changing output frequencies. The IF processor comprises an up/down conversion mixer outputting modulated signals, an LPF(Low Pass Filter) removing unnecessary signals, an ADC(Analog-to-Digital Converter) converting received analog signals into digital signals, and a DAC(Digital-to-Analog Converter) converting digital signals into analog signals. The baseband processor comprises a symbol combiner combining demodulating fingers with each information on multipath inputted from three demodulating fingers, an AGC(Auto Gain Controller) controlling gains for inputted signals and securing effective A/D conversion, and a PCM(Pulse Code Modulator) acting as a DAC. A logic unit(112) comprises a CDMA modem transceiving, modulating and demodulating CDMA signals, an MCP(multi-Chip Package) memory inputting and storing information related to operations of a cellular phone, and a CF interface performing communication with a CF I/O unit(116). And the CF I/O unit(116) interfaces with external devices. |
