PURPOSE: An outside case for an outdoor unit of an air conditioner is provided to simplify structure for easy manufacture at low cost and to suppress generation of vibration. CONSTITUTION: An outside case(11) includes a base plate(12) forming a base; a square upper cover(14) placed on an upper side of the base plate to be separated from the base plate; a first vertical frame(16a), a second vertical frame(16b), a third vertical frame(16c), a fourth vertical frame(16d) and a fifth vertical frame(16e) having one ends fixed to corners of the base plate, and the other ends fixed to corners the upper cover, respectively; and a first supporting frame(31) including an upper first sloping rod having one end fixed to an upper end of the first vertical frame and the other end extended downward at fixed angle with a surface of the upper cover, an upper second sloping rod having one end fixed to an upper end of the second vertical frame and the other end extended downward to contact with an end of the upper first sloping rod, a lower first sloping rod having one end extended upward, a lower second sloping rod having one end fixed on a lower end of the second vertical frame and the other end extended upward to contact with the lower first sloping rod, and at least one connecting rod having one end fixed integrally on ends of the upper first sloping rod and the lower first sloping rod and the other end fixed integrally on ends of the lower first sloping rod and the lower second sloping rod. |
