<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital broadcast receiver which can compensate the phase correctly, corresponding to various modulation systems, which are specified by DSNG (Digital Satellite News Gathering) standard out of DVB (Digital Video Broadcasting) standard: EN301 201 v1.1.1, and coding ratios. <P>SOLUTION: This digital broadcast receiver is provided with a variable cycle TS header detector 21 which detects the detection cycle of a TS header being a synchronous signal by making it correspond to the cycle of the convolution coding, a variable phase detector 22 which detects a shift of the phase angle of a base band signal from an absolute phase, and a variable phase converter 20 which converts the phase of the base band signal in the phase diagram by different phase angles for each digital broadcast transmission signal having various modulation systems and coding ratios. This can compensate the phase of a received signal, corresponding to various coding systems and coding ratios such as QPSK or 8PSK (coding ratios 2/3, 5/6, and 8/9). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
