PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric transductional material and transducer having good energy conversion efficiency. SOLUTION: A thermoelectric transductional material is represented by (AC)<SB>m</SB>(BC<SB>2</SB>)<SB>n</SB>, and has a misfit structure that an AC layer of an NaCl family relation type and a BC<SB>2</SB>layer of a Cdl<SB>2</SB>family relation type are laminated by lattice inconsistency (A denotes tin (Sn), B denotes titanium (Ti) and C denotes sulfur (S), and 0.5≤m≤1.5; n=1, 2, 3, 4, or 5).
