PURPOSE: A thermoplastic resin composition is provided, which is improved in tensile strength, elongation and heat resistance and is useful as the housing of an electronic product and the interior and exterior material of an automobile. CONSTITUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition comprises (A) 5-30 parts by weight of an ABS resin comprising (a1) 40-47 wt% of a graft ABS resin prepared by graft copolymerizing a small particle size rubber with an average particle size of 0.08-0.18 micrometers and (a2) 53-60 wt% of a graft ABS resin prepared by graft copolymerizing a medium particle size rubber with an average particle size of 0.28-0.38 micrometers; and (B) 25-45 parts by weight of an SAN resin comprising (b1) an N-(substituted) maleimide copolymer and (b2) a low molecular weight SAN resin. The N-(substituted) maleimide copolymer(b1) comprises 40-60 wt% of an N-(substituted) maleimide monomer and maleic anhydride and 40-60 wt% of an aromatic vinyl monomer; and the low molecular weight SAN resin(b2) comprises 65-78 wt% of styrene and 22-35 wt% of acrylonitrile and has a weight average molecular weight of 80,000-120,000. |
