PURPOSE: A device for opening/shutting an earphone jack of a portable terminal is provided to insert a fixing groove of an earphone cover into a hooking projector, and to support a fixing unit fixed into the hooking projector by one side of the earphone jack, not to detach the earphone cover from the hooking projector, thereby implementing easy assembly as reducing the number of processes. CONSTITUTION: A portable terminal comprises as follows. In a body(10), an upper case(1) and a lower case are assembled. A printed circuit board mounted on the body(10) forms an earphone jack. A battery(11) is detached from the lower case. A cover(20) is rotated, and opened/shut on the basis of a hinge unit(12). On a front side(10a) of the body(10) exposed to outside when unfolding the cover(20), a button device(30), a microphone(14), a display(21), and a speaker(22) are comprised. The button device(30) inputs information. The microphone(14) transmits a voice. The display(21) displays messages or symbols. The speaker(22) receives the voice and generates a receiving sound.
