PURPOSE: An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device is provided to improve the image quality by preventing flickers or latent image. CONSTITUTION: A pixel electrode(214) and storage lines(203) are overlapped at both sides of an insulating film and perform the function of a storage capacitor(218). The pixel electrode is overlapped with a portion of the gate lines(204) to form an auxiliary capacitor(219). The capacitance of the auxiliary capacitor is the same as the parasitic capacitance of a gate electrode(210) and a drain electrode(212) of a thin film transistor. When the potential of a scan signal is changed, the change of the pixel voltage is compensated by the auxiliary capacitor.
