摘要 PURPOSE: A buffer pad attached tundish used in continuous casting facility is provided in which a buffer pad is adhered to a position on the bottom surface of the tundish corresponding to long nozzle to improve cleanliness of molten steel by suppressing scattering of molten steel injected from the long nozzle and reducing momentum. CONSTITUTION: In a tundish of continuous casting facility for primarily storing molten steel injected from ladle through long nozzle so that the stored molten steel is injected into mold, the buffer pad(20) attached tundish used in continuous casting facility comprises a molten steel inlet(15) penetrated on an upper surface(17) of the tundish facing an outlet of the long nozzle; a case(21) installed on the bottom(6) of the tundish to form a buffer space(19) inside the molten steel inlet(15); and molten steel outlets(23) for discharging molten steel flown into the case(21) through the molten steel inlet(15) into the outside of the case(21), wherein the molten steel inlet(15) is formed at the center of the upper surface(17) of the case(21) while the molten steel outlets(23) are laterally formed at both side ends of the upper surface(17) of the case(21) with the molten steel inlet(15) being installed between the molten steel outlets(23), and wherein the molten steel inlet is formed at one side end of the upper surface of the case while the molten steel outlets are formed at the other side end oppositely directed to the molten steel inlet of the upper surface of the case.
