PURPOSE: A method of remotely updating a data processor operation program, a data processor and data format for the method are provided to update a program for operating a data processor remotely. CONSTITUTION: A receiving part receives a data processor operation program of a new version from a transmitting side(10). A data processor of the receiving part is driven using the program(12). The data processor includes a transceiver, a storage, and a driver. The transceiver transmits and receives data between the receiving part and the transmitting part. The storage stores the data. The driver performs instruction and calculation processing using the data. The data corresponds to the operation program and information required when the operation program is updated.
