IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS AND METHOD, RECORDING MEDIUM, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus and method that can automatically adjust an image of an object at a proper photographing position.

SOLUTION: The method includes steps S21 to S23 of detecting a vertex of an object and adjusting the position of a camera and a mirror by moving them until coordinates of the detected vertex and a reference vertex are coincident with each other; steps S24 to S26 of detecting a size of an image of a face of the object and controlling zooming of the camera until the detected image size is coincident with the reference image size when it is discriminated that the coordinates of the vertex of the object and the reference vertex are coincident with each other in the step S22; steps S25 to S29 of adjusting the position of the camera and the mirror by moving them until the coordinates of the vertex of the object and the reference vertex are coincident with each other again when it is discriminated that the image size of the face is coincident with the reference image size in the step S25.
