PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for generating three-dimensional images and a storage medium by which images with higher image quality can be generated even when only the comparatively small number of corresponding points (points by representing the same subject part between images as correspondence of point to point) can be obtained between the images and drastic shortening of processing time, etc., is enabled since correspondence is not required in all the pixels when an image from a new viewpoint is generated.

SOLUTION: A three-dimensional image generator is provided with an image processing part 4 for dividing a plurality of images by photographing a subject from a plurality of viewpoints into partial areas respectively based on extraction results of corresponding points representing the same subject part as the correspondence of point to point, for calculating the optimal model representing correspondence relation among corresponding partial areas in a plurality of the images and for generating an image viewed from an optional viewpoint by deforming the partial areas based on the optimal model.
