PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile machine capable of informing a user of the possibility of receiving the same E-mail twice if a failure occurs in specifying unreceived E-mails out of all the E-mails stored in a mail server in case that it is not set to delete the received E-mails from the mail server (POP server). SOLUTION: The E-mails stored in the mail server (POP server) are received (step S7), a comment is added to inform the possibility of double reception of the E-mails (step S8), a message indicating that the received E-mails may be redundantly received is printed out (step S9).
