PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology capable of preventing the rise of temperature and attaining stable operation in a semiconductor laser element. SOLUTION: In a photoelectronic device constituted by welding a cap to a stem on which a semiconductor laser element is fixed and by airtightly sealing the laser element by the cap and the stem, a radiation element is fixed integrally with the stem. Since a temperature is controlled by radiating heat generated from the laser element by the radiation element, the laser element holds an optimum temperature, the characteristics of the element are stabilized and high quality can be maintained.
