PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower a manufacturing cost of temperature adjustment system equipment while reducing heat leakage and improving operation efficiency similarly to a 4- chamber type. SOLUTION: An automatic vending machine can be switched to the first cold and warm mode of cooling both merchandise housing chambers 26 and 27 by respective cooling sources E, the second cold and warm mode of heating a first division merchandise housing chamber on the outer end side of one merchandise housing chamber 26 by a heating source H and cooling a second division merchandise housing chamber and the other merchandise housing chamber 27 by the respective cooling sources E, the third cold and warm mode of heating one merchandise housing chamber 26 by the heating source H and cooling the other merchandise housing chamber 27 by the cooling source E, and the fourth cold and warm mode of cooling a fourth division merchandise housing chamber on the outer end side of the merchandise housing chamber 27 by the cooling source E and heating a third division merchandise housing chamber and the other merchandise housing chamber 26 by the respective heating sources H, by the detaching/attaching operations of heat insulating partition plates 28 and the control of the cooling source E and the heating source H by a temperature adjustment control means.
