DISK CLAMPING DEVICE

PURPOSE: A disk clamping device is provided to fix various kinds of disks different in thickness, thereby coping with the future disks and granting appropriate fixing force corresponding to the thickness of the disks. CONSTITUTION: An upper clamper holder(142) is provided. A lower clamper holder(143) is combined with the upper clamper holder. A clamper(141) is movably installed between the upper clamper holder and the lower clamper holder for fixing a disk secured on a turntable. A first magnetic force member(144) is installed between the upper clamper holder and the lower clamper holder. A second magnetic force member is installed on the turntable, opposite to the first magnetic force member for acting magnetic force between the first magnetic force member. An elastic member(146) is interposed between the upper clamper holder and the clamper for elastic biasing the clamper in the disk direction.
