<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a low cost and space saving by composing a releasing means and a resetting means of a swing member that is one member. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing device of an image forming apparatus 118 is provided with a releasing means 70 for releasing pressurization of a pressurizing means 50 bringing a transfer material into contact with a heating means 1 for heating the transfer material carrying a toner image with pressure. When paper is removed in paper clogging, one end constituting the releasing means 70 for releasing the pressurization of the pressurizing means 50 is made a supporting point, the swing member provided with a projection part 18 projected on a part of the swing member constituting the resetting means 180 restored to a position before pressurization releasing after clogged paper is removed is composed of a lever member 7 engaged with one end of a swinging cover member 11, two cams 17 and 18 projected in the pressurizing means side are provided at different positions, one cam 17 constitutes the releasing means 70, and the other cam 18 constitutes the resetting means 180. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
