<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output device operation verification device, an image output device operation verifying method, a recording medium, and a program which enable verifying detailed behavior, including the operation timings of a engine part, of an image output device, even if a controller part and the engine part are mutually connected, to improve the speed of developments of the image output device, and reduce the development cost. <P>SOLUTION: A printer analyzer is provided with an interface part 27, which obtains the contents of data communication between a printer controller 21 and a printer engine 23, a general-purpose computer 28 which obtains a command signal output from the printer controller 21, a status signal output from the printer engine 23, and a control signal communicated to and fro between the printer controller 21 and the printer engine 23 and performs emulation of the state of the printer engine 23. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
