<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve and stabilize separator quality by ensuring the abnormal layer removal amount and the separator's material removal amount during the conduction object head protrusion by means of each gravimetric process. <P>SOLUTION: A manufacturing process for a separator comprises an abnormal layer removal etching process to remove an abnormal layer on a surface layer of a separator material, a gravimetric process to measure an intermediate weight W2 of the separator material after removing the abnormal layer, a first passivation treatment process to perform a passivation treatment for preventing corrosion of the separator material, a conduction object head protrusion etching process to make a head protrude by projecting a part of the conduction object, included in the surface layer of the separator material by etching process, the gravimetric process to measure weight W5 after protruding of the head of the separator material, after this conduction object head protrusion etching process, and a second passivation treatment process to perform the passivation treatment again after this gravimetric process. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
