<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the occurrence of instantaneous interruption at a handover with respect to a routing method for mobile IP communication and a mobile repeater. <P>SOLUTION: The base stations BS1-BS3 of a cellular mobile communications system using the Internet protocol or each fixed-station node of the control station of the system receives receiving state reporting information indicating the signal receiving state of a mobile station MS1 from a base station in the circumference of the station MS1, updates routing information indicating the downward transmitting route of the IP header information based on the receiving state reporting information from the mobile station MS1, and transmits a packet to the downward transmitting route based on the routing information. In addition, the base stations BS1-BS3 or each fixed-station node prepares and holds routing information giving priorities to a plurality of transmitting route candidates with respect to the address of one mobile station based on the receiving state reporting information from the station MS1 and, when no confirmation response is received to the packet transmitted through one transmitting route of the routing information within a fixed period of time, changes the priority of the transmitting route. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
