<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the connection between an output electrode in a power module and an external device. <P>SOLUTION: The side of an L-shaped output electrode that is electrically connected with a semiconductor chip 24 mounted to an insulation substrate 22 through a wire 30 and a connector 44 connected with an external device 40 through a cable 42 are connected with each other by means of an L-shaped integral type output bus bar 50. Namely, a bolt 54 is inserted into a through hole formed in a horizontal part of the output bus bar 50 to join with the connector 44 by using a nut 55, and a bolt 56 is inserted into a through hole formed in a vertical part of the output bus bar 50 to join with the side of the output electrode 32 by using a nut 57. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
