PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for detecting abnormality of a trolley wire capable of detecting wear or extension early and also detecting abnormal position in length direction, at a low cost. SOLUTION: The vibration characteristics of a trolley wire 3 when a train passes is detected with a vibration detecting sensor 5 attached to the trolley wire 3.
