摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC-DC converter capable of accommodating load fluctuations and attaining reductions in size and cost. SOLUTION: In this DC-DC converter 100, an output of a DC power supply 300 is turned on and off at a switching device 120 and is applied to a primary side of a transformer 110. A secondary energizing power excitation power is thereby rectified in a first rectifying diode 161 and is applied to a load 310 via a choke coil 170 and a smoothing capacitor 180. The voltage of an output terminal 193 is observed in a diversion control circuit 150, and when the load increases and the output voltage drops, a diversion circuit 163 is energized to flow an excitation current on a secondary side through a second rectifying diode 162. The current is flowed through a secondary winding reversely wound around the choke coil 170 and reduces magnetic flux density generated on the choke coil 170. Thus, the allowable magnetic flux density can be reduced to miniaturize the choke coil 170. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
