PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas alarm device capable of improving protective performance against fall. SOLUTION: At least one projection 12 is provided on the surface of an alarm device case 11. Thus, the maximum impact G is lowered, a gas sensor is hardly degraded or broken and the falling performance of the gas alarm device is improved. Also, at least one projection is provided on the front surface side and/or the back surface side and/or the side face side and/or the upper surface side and/or the lower surface side of the alarm device case. Thus, the maximum impact in the case that the gas alarm device falls down is reduced, the gas sensor is hardly degraded or broken and the falling performance of the gas alarm device is improved.
