PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a robbery preventing device enabling the work of replenishing merchandise and recovering cash/paper money, etc., without disturbance. SOLUTION: In a state in which a protective member 24 of the robbery preventing device 21 is locked to a locking member 23, opening of a door 3 is blocked by the protective member 24. Also, since one end part of the protective member 24 is freely turnably supported by a supporting member 22, the need of detaching the protective member 24 from the automatic vending machine every time of opening the door 2 at the time of the work of replenishing the merchandise and recovering the cash/paper money, etc., is eliminated. Further, since the turning fulcrum of the protective member 24 and the turning fulcrum of the door 2 are provided on the same side, the protective member 24 and the door 2 can be turned in the same direction.
