PURPOSE: A method for sending an e-mail in a mobile communication terminal is provided to automatically connect a specific Internet server among a plurality of Internet servers through a WAP(Wireless Application Protocol) gateway, if an e-mail address of a recipient is selected in an e-mail address list menu among user interface menus. CONSTITUTION: An e-mail list menu is selected among user interface menus of a mobile communication terminal(S200). If an e-mail address of a recipient is selected, the mobile communication terminal automatically attempts the connection to an Internet server through a base station and a WAP gateway(S210). The mobile communication terminal decides whether the Internet server for e-mail sending is set(S220). If so, the mobile communication terminal connects the set Internet server(S230). If the Internet server is not set, an Internet server set menu is selected among the user interface menus(S270). An Internet server among a plurality of Internet servers is searched and set(S280), and the mobile communication terminal connects the set Internet server(S230). A mobile communication terminal produces contents for sending(S240). The contents are converted appropriately in type and format which can be transmitted and sent to the e-mail address of the recipient(S250). And the mobile communication terminal disconnects the WAP gateway(S260). |
