摘要 PURPOSE: A preventing apparatus and a method for sleepy driving by using speech recognition are provided to prevent an accident in a drowsy condition and reduce boredom of a driver by using a conversational event with a TTS(Text-To-Speech) and speech recognition. CONSTITUTION: A key input unit(100) outputs a selecting signal for a sleepy driving preventing mode. A main control unit(200) outputs question data after initialization and outputs several control signals corresponding response data after receiving. An auxiliary control unit(300) receives question data and several control signals from the main control unit and outputs the signals to corresponding blocks. A codec(400) receives question data from the auxiliary control unit, convert data to an analog speech and outputs through a speaker. The codec receives analog response data from a mike, converts data to digital speech data and outputs to the auxiliary control unit. A DSP(Digital Sound Processor,500) receives an audio play control signal and plays music set by a driver. A wireless communicating module(600) outputs a call signal after receiving a call control signal. An interface unit(700) drives a window after receiving a window driving control signal. Thereby, an accident by a sleepy driving is prevented and boredom of the driver is reduced by a conversational event.
